My research interests fall mainly in the field of Information Technology and Telecommunication Economics and Policy.
My PhD research focused on the extent of online copyright violations and on technological approaches to detection of illegal transfers of copyrighted media online. Research conclusions contributed significantly towards understanding the dimension of the digital copyright violation phenomenon and towards informing policymakers, network operators and business stakeholders on possible alternatives to deal with it.
